The airplane bathroom is no longer horrifying. It is actually quite charming. It still may be one of the smallest bathrooms ever, but we LOVE it now.

The complete overhaul included the shiny retro tile, corner sink, and compact toilet installed by our fabulous contractor Fred. Seriously, email him if you need work done – please.

And then we painted the walls Soot. It’s pretty much black and it’s edgy, but we have no plans to change it anytime soon. Add in a little “Enjoy Detroit” in a vintage frame, two long skinny mirrors, and a few other pieces, the painted light fixture we stole from the front entryway complete with an *Edison* bulb, cover the window with a frosty film and it’s finished.

We love your little corner sink! We have one just like it, although minus the towel bar. I’ve been looking and looking for a bar to put on ours, not even realizing you could buy them that way! Where did you score it and how much did you pay?
